All the obituaries are finished. It was a lot harder writing Madeline L'Engle's obituary than I'd expected. I got teary-eyed all over again. One of these days, all those books of hers I haven't yet read will make it to the top of my reading list.

For us Christian folk, we're almost at the end of Lent. Today was always the biggest day of the year for me: Maundy Thursday is the part of the story where everything goes wrong for Jesus.
